Hey guys (and girls)...Long story short, Dieselsite.com ****** up my order for a wicked wheel that I need by Saturday because I'm driving 4 hours to Ricks shop to have him help me rebuild my turbo. I just got an e-mail saying that the wheel is on back-order...so I'm screwed. I was wondering if anyone knows who stocks a wicked wheel and if they can ship it in one day. Please help and thanks in advance.

 

ok I just had a brain fart. Do yall think that I could go to autozone or some other big chain autoparts store and get a stock wheel for an early 99 (which should be a wicked wheel, right?) Maybe this will work, I'm about to google it right now.

He may have one and just have it shipped right to Ricks.

 

no, I ordered a rebuild kit from him (o-rings and stuff) but he also had the wheel on backorder...bummer dude.

Good one!!!! I've never been to Lake Charles before...plus, I was in PANIC MODE for a minute there and may have been freaking out a little. Not to worry though, I found a diesel shop in Baton Rouge that I will call tomorrow, and I know a guy that works for an International dealer here in New Orleans so maybe between the two I can work something out, hopefully!

Hopes this works out for you. I don't know where I could find one on short notice. If I already had the GTP38R, I ordered today, we could put my current turbo set up on there.

 

Hmmm, things are a changing for you. Did you get the 1.15 housing?

 

I can get you one but you need to contact me ASAP. I can have it overnighted to the shop where you will be doing the work. E-mail or call me and I will take care of you.

 

I ordered the turbo through Clay. Great guy.
It will have the 1.0 WG housing. I plan to put my Turbo Master WG Controller on it. I am going to send in the compressor housing to Bob @ DS and have it machined before I install it.

 

Wow, how things can change. Let me know what is going on Chad. I still have my stock wheel and it is in perfect shape. If you can't get one, we can put that one on for the time being.

 

Not to bash them, but the are no longer a site sponser. I had them on the temp sponser thread and FTEJason told me that they were no longer a sponser.

 

Wonder what happened? Maybe the money? Thought they were the shizzle when it came to the HPOP's and stuff...
