Just curious...
I've been in the body repair buisness for over 35 years ,& the only time a jobber has recommended I use it ,was over an unstable finish ...
I 've been using Dupont acid etch since i can remember ,,light weight enamel based ,very stable ,& some of the OEMs are using a similar product ,,,recently on a 2001 Jeep ...
All these years I have never repaired a vehicle ,that came from the factory with "gooey" epoxy primer on it (Stuff is crap to work with)(can't sand it ,,seems to never harden)...What am I missing ?....
Is it because someone said so ?????? Or is it real life experience(testing )?
Looking for facts , rather than opinion....
Educate me ....
