Can anyone tell me which scanner will work for all 7.3's from 94 -03?
I found there website and I see theres lots of diffrent scanners for diffrent prices?
Wheres the best place to buy one?
Ken, I would gladly scan your truck, but you are too far away. I have the AE unit which requires a computer. There are others, but they are pricey for standalone units.
I copied this from ITP's site.
NOTE: AutoEnginuity may not work properly on 1994 and some Early 1995 Powerstroke trucks unless the computer has been reflashed to the latest PCM code for that particular model truck. This is because some of the early PCM programming didn't properly support the OBDII standards.

I wonder how you could tell for sure?
Probably cant..........
If you have a laptop. AE is the way to go. I don't regret purchasing it.
I have a friend with a lap top and once I learned what I was doing I could buy a laptop.
Which scanner did you buy?
Thees lots of diffrent models at diffrent prices?
Did you buy off Ebay?
I bought the Auto Enginuity software (Ford Bundle) from Dennis @ ITP. He had the 'best bang for the buck'.
I was going to buy the Pro Bundle. Saved the money and said "the heck with it" and let my non-Ford friends and family fend for themselves.

i bought a brand new auto x-ray ez-scan 4000 last week from amazon.com for $125 delivered to the house.
it is hand held, and will scan EEC-IV, obd-1, obd-2, obd, and can. it also reads diesel soft and hard codes.

These are fine as code readers, but the AE allows you to do much more in the way of diagnostics.
