E406 Not shifting
My transmission is not shifting at all. I can manually shift, but it will not fall into 1st(must be a linkage problem) I bought the truck after it had been sitting up for a while. I suspect they started having problems, and parked it. The truck idled fine, but would back fire, and lacked power. I replaced the timing chain, timed the distributer, and replaced the computer. Now it runs better. I need to figure out the tranny problem. Tell me how to get started. Thanks in advance. Also, where should I advance the timing to? It still doesn't run like it should.
