question for killercoating
i'm new to this forum. joined a few months ago, and have been just searching and reading about several things. i don't personally have any ford trucks myself, but my best friend has a '64 short box stepside that we are currently working on modifying. it has a '72 mustang 351 cleveland/c6, and have swapped the dash from the '64 to one from a '77. i've been researching much info in the '61-'66 forums and have found TONS of great information and would like to say thanks to all for their valuable posts both here and there. i came across the thread for the 03-07 crown vic swap by carcrafter as i was looking for info on swapping out the drums for discs and was hooked and convinced this was the way to go. i was actually wanting to ask killercoating what the name of the yard in chicago heights he got his crown vic front at. i live in janesville, wi and wouldn't mind the drive down there to get the same setup if i could manage the same price or close. i've tried to get the same suspension around me, but most yards either aren't willing to sell the complete setup for one reason or another, or want an outrageous amount approaching $1,000. any help would be great apperciated.
