Some of my buddies at ford say these numbers as well. They say the truck becomes a rocket, and just burn up the tires with better milage than v10

I heard the 6.2L is going into the new Raptor as well. They are introducing the Raptor this summer with the 5.4L then in the winter...late 09 early 10 they will put it in the Raptor as well.

Where do you expect the Coyote to be utlized? Will it be Mustang and F-150 only? What about Expedition? I presume the 2011 model year for each?

Thanks,
Eric

I hear the 6.2L Boss will be near 400/400. The 3 valve V-10 is being dropped, the 2 valve V-10 will continue on the E series vans and motorhome chassis.

I could care less about what it will beat or not beat. I want it to ride like a car, hold a family like a sedan, and tow with the most torque in it's class. I know, wishfull thinking, however, my current Sierra Denali does all of these things well, and I would like to buy a Ford next time. I hope the Ford 6.2 goes in the Expedition sooner than later as my wife's 6.2 Yukon's lease is up Aug. 2010. Hurry up Ford!

Is the V10 being dropped in the F450-F550 cab chassis too? I don't think the 6.2 has enough grunt for these.

Some great info provided here, thanks!
I really, badly, want a F150 XLT crew (I refuse to call them Screw), 4x4 long bed.... but I have to have the 6.2. Sorry, but the 5.4 feels slow in that truck! It feels like there's no reserve of power for low rpm accelerating with a trailer on the back. And to hear the 6.2 will fry the tires, push it hard, and sound awesome, makes it even more worth the wait. Bring it on right now!
