I'm not sure about the coast and lower main land, I know there are a bunch of events down that way but since we're so far away I never check to see when they are. Check the CMRO website, I think they do a few in your area every year. They have alot of rules but are generally a pretty good event non the less. I may hit a couple CMRO runs this year if I get the chance.

It does have a front drive shaft, 99 chipped 7.3 PSD with a ZF 6 behind that and a 205 divorced transfer case behind that.

With the Rockwells 6.72 ratio and 53" ag tires, top speed in high gear, 106 MPH.

Both Rockwell's are welded, so it is 4 wheel drive.

Yes it does, transfer case front shaft output is on the passenger side.

I was helping him get the transfer case shifter linkage straightened out when my son took that picture.

With the tires that tall, he thought he was in high range 4x4, and was trying to get to low range, which is where he really was to start with.
When I ran the numbers and found out the top speed possible in overdrive was over 100 MPH, he about fell out of the truck.

Low range top speed at 3300 RPM goes 6.8, 11.9, 18.8, 30.1, 39.5, 54.8
High range 13.3, 23.3, 36.8, 59.1, 77.4, 107.5

So it works out close to a 4.10 gear with stock 235/85-16 tires on it as far as speed.

I think it will be a one day show we are in the procss of setting up things now. we are trying to set up some fillers (mini car derby, burn out , RC demonstration, skidoos in the bog.) we have a kids dash for cash through the pit for $50.00 for the winner and a truck derby. I keep you in the loop if its going to be a two dayer. Last year we had one of the bulk plants give all of the out of town trucks a tank of fuel for the trip home. I'm sure that will happen again. If its a 1 day show, I'll definitly try to make it out, 2 day shows that are over 5 hours away make for a 4 day long weekend of traveling with a 2 year old LOL.
Do you have any idea what the prize money is like?

Took ya long enough to find this site myron lol, how far south you planning to race this year? If things go as planned with my sister and brother inlaw getting transfered to cfb edmonton i'll be hitting a few of the cmro event in the edmonton area if you're interested, probably going to hit rimbey up again as well, but the truck is udergoing a complete rebuild starting with a new truck, currently its with clay at evolution (you've probably seen the build thread on evo) to get the cage bent, then its back to the farm to get the cage and engine/tranny/transfer case dropped in, then suspension, then bodywork, and hopefully i can have it together for the end of april.

Holy crap you're gonna be way busier then me!! Oh wel, it wouldnt be normal if we werent scrambling the last couple days before the first race of the year. If I go up north to Fort Nelson, then I'm not sure how far south I'll end up this year. hopefully we'll end up at the same event sometime this summer!!

That sounds good to me, I'm gonna plan to come unless something comes up that makes it impossible. Depending on who comes with me will determine where we stay. I'd sleep in the truck!! But my wife and 2 year old daughter probably wouldnt care for that much LOL. Have to see if Jamie and Debbie are coming with the suzuki as well.
What is the class break? 39.5 and under?

yeah i'll be busy this year for sure, granted mostly depends on fuel prices, but still i've upgraded the tow rig (08 f-150, better tires, airbags, locking tailgate with toneau, if funds allow will probably add a tuner, exhaust and air intake) a tad to make the trips a non issue, but the really story will be whether i can get the truck together in time .

39.5 and up. most of our trucks are 39.5 and smaller. we run each class in both pits so its pretty fair.the smaller trucks(33-35 have trouble at the begining but it evens out. Dean

Cody - well I sure hope everything comes together the way you want it to. A good reliable tow rig is worth its weight in gold when it comes down to wether you race or not!!

Dean - well, I guess I can run in 1 class then LOL. I was hoping to run in both but thats alright.
