The pic of the left side shows that there's just a flat piece that screws in where the visor mount used to be and then a flat piece, the shelf, is just screwed into that. If you want, I can make a drawing of the bracket, not to scale but you can figure that out as you like it, so you can see just how easy it is. You could then make a custom shelf or even just make a guage mount that's mounted in place of the visor. The possiblities are endless.

Here's mine. There is a false roof panel along the front half of the roof above the headliner. It only goes back about halfway. I had to pop rivet an extension on to it to mount the linear. It is high enough to allow me to see out the inside rear view mirror.:

MMMMMM? Can't seem to post a pic. If you want to see my setup go to the audio/video forum and look under "what do you use your CB for?"

Hope this helps

What if you put a cb in something like this, the 05 lower pannel with the storage box. Would it fit?

I have the Cobra night watch also that I plan on mounting to the lower part of the door so I can still use it. I'm hoping I can get it to work as long as I can find a way to get the coax in through the back of the cab. I have a firestick that I am going to mound on a stake pocket mount at the front driver's side pocket.
