reverse not working ford ranger
Hello
just bought a 98 ford ranger v6 3.0 liter 4 x4 automatic. fordward gears 1,2,3 and drive work great . No shifting problems, fluid at right level not burnt , When you put in reverse it seems to make a small engaging noise. But wont move at all . Someone mentioned a band. What may be the problem and how hard is it to fix. Or is it time for a new tranny?
