Well, it didnt look like I was going to get any responses in time, so I did an internet search for discount codes.
If you input "five" in the discount code/coupon box, you will get the 5% discount. My Bilsteins should get to my hotel tomorrow... along with my Hawk brake pads.
Now all I need is a shop to install them. Dont you just love traveling?

Glad to here you are going with the Bilsteins and Hawk pads as I did and you be happy with both of them, as far as traveling not a big fan of for work but I do some.
If you want to drive down to florida, I'll be happy to install them.
Thanks man, but I dont think I will be making it down your way any time soon. Texas may be in the works in a couple of weeks, but not Florida.
So far one shop has given me a labor estimate. A Goodyear service center quoted me a bit over $325 for installing four shocks, four sets of pads, and turning all four rotors. I am waiting on a call from a mom and pop shop that comes with high recommendations from family around here.
BTW, this is turning into quite the expensive trip. Sunday I had a Firestone center replace a lower ball joint, serpentine belt, rotate and balance the tires, and do an alignment. That was over $750. Yesterday I had SafeLite come to my hotel and install a new windshield. That was about $180.
For some reason, the weatherstripping kept wanting to come out from around the windshield at 90mph, and since I had a couple long cracks and a bunch of chips.... it was time to replace the thing anyway.

Funny, I've been looking around the internet today for the same things ...
My list includes changing the Fluids ( front/rear axle , and xfer case - tranny was done recently ) next week and then doing the brakes/shocks/helwig the followin month.
Does anyone have the model/part #'s for the Bilstein Front and Rear Shocks. Also if someone knows the part number for the rotors that would be great ! I'm not sure which rotors do go with - but definilty going to go with Hawk LTS pads.

Bilstein Shock #'s: Front, F4-BE5-6208-H0 and Rear, F4-BE5-6209-H0 would be for stock Excursion ie no lift and stock springs as far as Rotors I went with the Cryo slotted which seem popular however some don't like the cost I paid $300.00 for the Cryo slotted and Hawk LTS pads (front only) with shipping to my door

Wow. That is alot. I just paid a little over $800 for 4 balljoints replaced, alignment and balanced and rotated tires. Moog parts also.
I gues I got lucky.
Sorry to hear about your expensive trip.
Come on over to East TN. and I will do the work for you for just the small price of a conversation.
Conversation is indeed a small price to pay for work like that. Unfortunately I dont see Tennessee coming up in the near future. If I end up out your way sometime, I will try to hit you up for some conversation and heck, I will take ya out for a beer man.
Good news on finding a shop to install my parts. I found a highly reputable place that will install everything tomorrow for $250, and Im not gonna gripe about that price one little bit.
BTW, all my parts came in today..... gotta love overnight express shipping eh?

Thanks a lot for all the info and yes it is a stock and 4wd
I'm going to look into ordering the rotors/pads in a few weeks and the shocks to follow ... I may end up getting the front setup (cryo/hawk) since the rear looks like they still got some decent meat.
Do the Bilsteins ride any stiffer than the OEM's ? -- not that I know how the OEMs ride since mine have 90k miles on them and definitely don't ride like new - lol

I don't think the Bilsteins make it ride any stiffer as that's not the purpose, they just provide better dampening over the springs ie less bounce which means the tire stays planted on the ground for better control.
