possible 6637 replacement
I found this at farm and fleet for 18.99
3.75" opening 11.75" long I forgot the outer diameter. I am trying to find specs on it with no luck.

Nice find, but before I'll trust a Fram filter again, I'd want to see some lab testing on flow-rates, filtration, etc. against the 6637, AFE PG7, etc. When Fram got sold, quality dropped bigtime, and I won't use their filters any longer. Subaru & VW get Purolator or NAPA items, PSD gets Motorcraft, Baldwin, & 6637.

The other thing I would worry about is the absence of the protective metal cage around the pleats. Would not take much impact to really damage that element unles it was in a protected cold air intake box.
Still... thanks for posting the find... could still be a good potential for some.

i was unaware of the quality issues at fram. now it doesnot seem like a good idea.
