The tubes look long for shorties. Sort of look like Banks headers without the Y-pipe part. Banks don't have a welded in Y-pipe like the Thorleys. http://www.bankspower.com/products/show/126/38
thanks dkf, yeah I thought banks looked the closest, definetely not cheapo ebay, thorley, jba, ford performance products or the gibsons you linked. I thought also maybe hedman and or borla as a possibility.
I think you can rule out Hedmans. The mounting flanges on the hedmans are split on each header. Looks like the headers in the auction have 1pc. flanges. Also you can tell the headers are 400 series stainless because of the finish. The Hedmans are steel so they would be rusted much worse.
Auction description says the mounting flanges are 1/2" thick. The Banks headers have 5/8" flanges. (Guy probably can't read a ruler) I've never seen Borlas but I think they have thinner flanges around 5/16"-3/8" or so. Either Borlas or Banks I'd say. They don't make Borlas anymore. Borlas have 18Ga. tubes and Banks has 16Ga. tubes so in theory the Banks would be quieter.
If you want the headers watch the item but don't bid on it until the end. I always throw a bid in at the last 20 seconds of the auction.
Wonder if he'll sell the Big Wheel in the picture with them...
LMAO. If he does, I'll give it to my brother. Talk about being able to screw up an anvil with a rubber mallet! He's hard on vehicles and probably shouldn't be driving.
In his description he says he's asking $200 for them. I'll bet he dosent know how to use ebay all that well and didn't start with a reserve. I'm also willing to bet if someone gets them for under $100 that he wont ship them since he didn't get what he wanted.
