Definitely snake oil. Anytime you see a part for $10 that someone claims will give you 5-15 horsepower, it's BS. Don't fall for it. Then again, for a couple of bucks, it may be worth taking the chance on!

 

All that piece does is block off the cooland that assists the choke so....in theory cooler air has a greater density then hot air and burns better BUT by blocking off the EGR on a vehicle with a computer you will just screw up something else in the system like your economy.
