tow command?

tow command?
03 f-250 6.0 4x4. I have the heated telescoping mirror option also have the button that says tow/haul. can i add tow command or do i have to stick with reg electric brake setup?

The integrated brake controller is integrated into the master cylinder and computer. In short, you're probably better off staying with what you've got. It can probably be done with enough money but I would think the list of components you'd have to buy, add, and integrate would be too costly to be worth it. If you've got a good aftermarket controller, stick with it unless you've got a lot of time and unlimited finances available. Your other alternative, if you're in the market, would be to trade for an '05+ truck with it already installed.

I believe the components are available as a set to add on option through certain dealers online, then they have to be installed then pcm needs to be reflashed to support it. As powerstroke said it is a costly add on, and I'm unsure if the compents are compatible with an 03.
