hey, im lookin at a 77 ford f100 or 150 (not to shur about the difference in 100 and 150). the truck has a 429 in it and looks pretty tight. i drove by it today and im meetin him to view it on tuesday. its a little out of my price range, but it seems real nice. i have been tryin to find a 78/79 bronco but all these other 70's trucks are pretty tempting to lol. im just wondering what a $13000 truck would be like in your area, just to give me an idea of what i should offer this guy for his truck if it drives and runs nice. thanks
Yes, in 1975, Ford came out with the 4x2 (for that year only) F150. It was heavy duty enough to carry a 6,050 GVW. That was just heavy enough for the F150 to be exempt from cats.
Don't think that an F100 is a weak sister though. My 4x4 F100 could run side-by-side and haul the same loads as an older F150 all day.

Man I love trucks just as much as the nice guy, maybe even more; but from what I can tell 13K for that ride is way high. Granted I'm not seeing it in person and only in little snap shots. I can't see the reason for paying that much, but if its all clean rust free, oem and well detailed, then it will bring high dollar.
But I would go over it with a fine tooth comb, before I spend that much. But maybe I'm wrong, and can't compare it over the view I see verse if you had to build it yourself.
Good luck on your desicion with it and let us know the out-come.
Its just hard to tell the value from a lap top!
Well 16,000 is Canadian dollar, but still translates to about 12,868.00 US dollar and still might be somewhat high, but if its like new and you just want a trouble free ride then this one might be it for you. Good Luck.
That seems way to high to me too. It says custom interior but it doesn't even have carpet? I see it has a newer seat in it and aluminum on the doors, but it doesn't seem too custom. And IMHO it looks funny with the rectangle lights in the 77 grille. But it's your money and your decision.

Well, 7000 isn't exactly 1/2, but, for 13g's it better be SHOW quality! Needing nothing, but gas and a driver. I would say that is a bit high, keep looking, might be cheaper to travel and drive it home, I did that with the wifes Lexi, $120 for a plane ticket,,, even a $500 plane ticket,,,,
