97-02 heated seats
which years and what trim packages where heated seats possible with and were they ever standard on say a eddie bauer? looking to buy one in these years, but would like heated seats.

I believe that they are options. My 02 EB has them and my old '00 Explorer XLT had them as well. However a friends expo EB does not (unsure of the year 99-02?). Their definitely
nice to have in the cold weather, I'll always make sure this is included in future vehicles!

All of mine have had it, it was an option with leather seats. The 99 was just heat, the 03 and 04 are heated and cooled.

For those of you that do have heated seats, how 'heated' are they? My '00 EB has them, but I find you can't even really tell that much.
But I have nothing to compare with except friends vehicles. A friend of mine has an 03 VW Jetta and that thing just roasts! Of course, it has little dials that you can turn from 1 - 5 as well..
