I'm working on a 2000 F350 Dually with a Dana 80 rear end.On turns the rear diff would make a loud clicking noise and chatter.I'm aware of the Tsb about changing the fluid and adding additive, but when I popped the cover off the fluid was saturated with clutch plate material. So now I'm going to replace the clutch plates. It is not my truck and the diff has been rebuilt before by someone else and I'm trying to figure out the correct pattern to install the plates because I'm not sure they were put in right by the last guy that rebuilt it.This is the first dana 80 I've worked on,so any help or reference to a manual would be appreciated.
