yes sir. around here, the regular stations put the diesel/gas pumps at the ends. they are the easiest to get to (and out of) and it really pisses me off when it happens.
even worse when they decide they need to go in and do stuff too- WITHOUT moving their car first!!!

Where I am there is an East Coast and a Wilco truckstop right across from each other. I always look and see which is cheaper then look at the single gas/diesel pump and see if its occupied.
That ticks me off more than anything with both those stations. One has a subway and the other has a wendys and people are ALWAYS going in without moving and ordering food...
You're not the only one that feels that way. I used to go to the pilot to fill up, now I find myself going to the other side of the interstate and paying 15 more cents a gallon just so I don't have to wait. Just one of the joys of owning a diesel I guess.
Over my way, the station I go to is cash only, so two trips inside for most folks. They have 3 pumps in a lins, gas and diesel. The 1st & 3rd have diesel. If I get stuck at the back pump (3rd), I go ahead and start filling, but of course I put it on the slowest notch as I watch the line build up behind me, LOL!!! It's my little significant way of inconveniencing the dwebs. I'm never in a hurry and the "sightseeing" is always good.
All these things mentioned above happen to me when i am short on time, never when i leave the house early. Running late, cars everywhere, no pumps. Leave early and in no hurry, i got the whole station to myself, but, not for long, they see me in there and here they come, gotta get in there. I should go into business myself, thinking of all the business I'll get, lol.
I hog the diesel pump too, but I am filling up my Jetta TDI.
For the truck, I always hit up the truck stop and fill the 98 gallon auxiliary tank in about 3 minutes vs 30 minutes at the regular stations.
i pulled in right behind a guy that went to the split pumps he was driving a high end car in a suit talking on his cell phone. i pull up to his bumper and waited like i always do. he got out to pump and looked at me and the other pumps woundering why i was right behind him. talking on his cell he failed to notice he pumped about diesel in his car. i guess i should have said something.
