YEAH MATT,,,WOOOOO,,,,Finaly a FORD and Matt Kenseth wins the Daytona 500! It was shortened by rain,,,,they were all racing to be first when the rain hit,,,,Matt and his FORD,,,was the man and machine that was leading when they Red flagged it,,,, !!

 

I was happy to see a ford win, but was pulling for Mark just so he can finally say he won one.

I was glad to see Matt win, but I would liked to have seen them finish the race under the green flag. Carl Edwards was having a pretty strong run until Dale Jr. and Brian Vickers pulled their little stunt. It would have been nice if he had more opportunity to work his way back towards the front.

 

Yeah that was pretty sweet. I am a Jr. fan but I dunno what was up with him on Sunday. He just kept making mistakes.

 

I don't think he should have been down there to begin with. That wreck started in the pits when the Nascar official called that Mickey Mouse penalty on Jr. and he lost a lap. You could plainly see the white line in the replay so I don't know how they could penalize him for being out of his pit box. Poor call by the official in my opinion and I'm not even a Jr. fan.

Nascar seems to have it's priorities right...can't let Keith Urban get rained out but who cares if the 500 is a farce.

 

the car was on the line clearly in violation . jr chocked and then took his frustrations out on 9 other people . plain crappy for all involved . if it would have been most anyone else it wouldnt have been tolerated as seen on sat . this is my biggest complaint about nascar its like one rule one day not the next !
