'06 Expedition Trans ID

Can anyone tell me which Transmission I have in my '06 Expedition XLT. I don't think it's anything special per the sticker, just a straight 4 speed auto with OD lockout. I'm trying to find out for servicing. I need to know which one it is to determine when to change Trans. fluid.

What engine do you have?

Also, there is a sticker on the door jamb that will have a transmission code. What is that code?

Hi Darrin and thanks for the help. The engine is the 5.4L. If the door sticker transmission code for the transmission is TR, the Code is "Q".

Is this what you're looking for?

Darrin,

Can you tell me what the Trans fluid change intervals are? The manual is confusing. Is a fluid change required at 30K miles?

I would call it a really good idea to change the fluid every 30k miles. More often in severe driving conditions.
