Hello,
I have a 2001 Single Cab F350 Diesel.
My blinkers blink until I touch the brake then they go solid. My hazard flashers however work fine when engaged. I noticed when the blinkers are on the cargo brake light blinks. I am getting reverse feedback somewhere in the system. Any idea where?
I thought it may be the tow hitch, So I disconnected it next to the spare tire. Still no luck.
Check wiring harness for wear n tears, also check all your grounds. May want to unplug one light at a time with brakes on an see if you can pin point that way. Could be in steering harness/turn signal switch,, just not sure
I'm thinking you may have a plow on your truck,,, Some times I amaze myself,,, Have you unplugged your plow lights? I'd check harness real close for damage, does seem like a bad ground. I haven't fooled with the newer trucks,, just deal with older so I'm probably missing some things here
What cargo brake light are you talking about the factory one on the cab, or one on a topper/cap? If you have a topper/cap the 3rd brake light may be wired up wrong.
