Hey guy's I'm new to the sterling 10.5! Just bought one out of a 99 superduty and was wondering about the wheel pattern I know it's a 8 on 170mm and was wondering about using the hubs off the 10.25 to get back to the 8 on 6.5! any help would be great! thanks
I'm not very up on the floating axle, but. I think the axle engages spines in the hub and the hub rides on the tubes. So you would need to find hubs that will take a bearing that sit nicely on the races and accept the splines on the axles (unless you want to replace the axles as well.) I am not sure the tube and measurements are swapable.
However, your going to have issues with rotating the tires if you have two different bolt patterns on the truck. 2wd might be swappable using a different hub/rotor, but the 4wd's hub assy will be a pain to swap the pattern.
Do you want to run a wheel that is only available in the metric pattern?
