lotta questions
1. My last one was a custom, this one says custom sport or ranger sport, i'm not sure which, what's gonna be the differences, the only ones i see are push bars on front bumper, extra chrome trim, "tool box" in pass. side of bed, dual tanks, auto trans., chrome rear bumper, and different mirrors.
2. exhaust. my 460 will have the stock manifolds on it probably for a long time, what size exhaust pipe do i need? the engine is orig. out of an '85 F250. dual pipes, or a big single one?
3. I have an almost done zf 5spd. for my 460, a complete 4 speed, (I thing Borg Warner) but have been thinking about an Auto. since that is what it had original and the shifter's already there. (the orig. trans. is gone)
4. I'll be doing my own body work and paint, what is a good paint gun to buy? do I need a pot or just a gun?
5. where's the worst trouble spots for cancer on these trucks, I've only found 1 spot on this one and 1 on my last one, just inside of the driver's door sill, probably from the a/c tube plugging and lettin' h20 run inside the truck.
6. It has a power brake booster on it, but it doesn't look right, how do I tell if this truck is sposta have power brakes?
7. how much fuel does the tank under the bed hold? I wanna do away with the behind the seat tank to make room for speakers.

8. what was the bed toolbox made to haul? was tehre a jack and tire tools in there, or is it for your tools, chains, animal parts, etc.?
#2 the pipe is really your call i personally would ditch the manifolds and run some headers. If duals at least 2" pipe.
#3 I personally like bangin gears so i would go standard. Havent heard the greatest stuff about the zf trannies though my consider an NV 4500. They came in Dodges and bowties but are good trannies.
#5 cab mounts and cab corners and the cab stiffener.
#7 If i remember right dads held about 20 gallons maybee a little less.
#8 Dad always kept a jack, tow rope, tire chains, 4 way, and a quart or two of oil.
