A well this all sounds good preventive maintenance sure goes long ways but I dont think the oil pan will come off without a shoehorn.

You dont need to change bearings, unless you do an oil analysis, and they see a high lead or copper count. No reason to F up your truck trying to get the oil pan out with the engine in, only to replace some bearings that didnt need to be changed anyway

Im not sure when ford recommends doing this if there were no fuel or excessive antifreeze in the oil pan OR EXCESSIVE LUGGING. But I would say your good for 400k or so with good preventive maintenance being done.

Maybe someone else will chime in with there high milage report. I know what your thinking about to bad ford didn't have a better idea about there oil pan removal.Venting the block with a rod is unheard of in this forum.

Is there any reason you're concerned with the bearings? The oil analysis suggestion is a good one if you're just curious. I'm sitting at 282k on my stock motor and have never thought about the bearings.
