I didnt know radiators changed how a truck runs. Maybe I can swap radiators instead of getting a programmer.
OK, seriously. mud_man Im not sure what you are trying to say. You didnt ask any questions so I assume you are just venting but Im not sure exactly what you are venting about. If you have gone through 4 radiators in 40k miles then you have something else wrong with your truck. If you are trying to compare related info or have a question I apologize for not sensing that and would ask you to re-post so maybe we can help.
Well, it looks like I am being "called out" for having a sense of humor. The idea of fuel in the radiator really did make me laugh, not at anyone's expense! I just thought it was something that came out of nowhere and it struck me as being humorous.
I am all about helping and touting the quality of the 08 Fords but if you all would rather, I'll just sign off.
Hey ruschejj, I dont think you were being called out and as gwcon said I laughed too. Nothing better than adding a little bit of Larry the Cable Guy. If anyone is offended by that then they need an enema anyway.
mud_man, give us some details. Anything else done other than 4 radiators? Are you familiar with the venturi tee that gwcon mentioned? Are you saying the truck doesnt run and the dealer is replacing the radiator to fix it? There is a pretty solid theory from some of the techs that an additional cause to radiator failures is due to the mounting system. Their experiences are showing them that trucks that tow heavy all the time have more issues because the torque of the 6.4 twists the frame with a heavy load and eventually cracks the post/stud on the bottom of the radiator. I think 4 radiators is a new record for one truck so tell us what you have going on.
it has had all exgust changed no reselts had bought trbos replaced no results been a nigth mare have tryed to get ford to replace or some thing thay say just take back to dealer to fix
