tac problems

tac problems

i just bought a 94 f 350 with 9 inches of lift its got a 351. i love this truck lol. i cant find the negative side of the coil. thats what im supose to do says the instructions. idk help lol. thanks petty

If your familiar with your DMM, then you can probe for AC voltage. The trigger wire will show a couple of VAC and the power wire shouldn't. Conversely, you can bump the engine until you get lucky and find a grounding spot.

ok

do i test the wires going into the distributor or is there some on the opisit side? i didnt see any but that dont mean nuthen lol.

You should have an Ecoil with the TFI connector on it. So it's just the two wires. It should look kind of like this

Take a look at this http://www.msdignition.com/uploadedF...pport/WDTN.PDF

On page 32 dk grn/ylw is the trigger wire.
