2005 f250 auto 4wd. Speedo/odo stopped working, ABS light on, tow/haul blinks, check engine light on. Pulled P0500 code, VSS replaced, codes cleared, P0500 code came back. Both front wheel bearings were replaced about a month ago with ford parts.
I heard about the TSS and OSS sensors would they cause this?
Any ideas?
I found reference to TSS and OSS having to do with the turbo. I don't believe the turbo should communicate with the ABS system. I think it's time to start tracing wires. If the wires look good, I'd suspect the VSS to have been a bad new unit.
You may have received a bad VSS, it happens every now and then.
