Part Pricing
How come Macs and Dennis carpenter have the same PN's in their books but macs prices are WAY lower. Example Vent window rubber:
pn 7c-8121448-
pr DC=$70 and Macs=$54
I can understand if they are buying it from someone else and DC is giving to us in the rear but I thought he made all of his rubber parts.
I recently got an order from LMC, the parts were DC parts.

The pn's are based off of Ford original pn's.
As for the difference in prices from different companies take a marketing 101 class.

There quite a few vendors that get their parts from DC, I have purchased from MF & NPD (which is about 2mi from DC) and both parts were from DC.

Yes, a lot of vendors do buy from DC and they are considerably cheaper. I buy a lot of my stuff from Mac's as the prices are better even with shipping.

LOL!
Not only that, but just because the
part number is the same, that doesn't mean the
QUALITY is the same.
Anyone can type a Ford part number and description, but...
Excepting Carpenter's parts, most of what is sold out there in repro parts land is made in ASIA, and is CRAP!
Repro parts can be equated to oats. Quality oats can be bought at feed stores, other oats will be found along the road, after the horse passes by.
You get what you pay for!
