88 dually
I bought a 88 250 5.8 C6 4x4 for next to nothing. The guy i bought it off of had put a flatbed on it and converted it to a dually. He took the dual wheels off and put singles back on before i saw it the first time (had another truck to use them on). I am getting new rear wheels for it soon but it looks like the rear axle is the stock steerling and all it has are longer studs to attatch the dual wheels. Will this work or should i just go to wider tires all around. the flatbed is 8' wide and looks real stupid with the narrow singles in the back. I would also like to have the dual wheels in the back to take advantage of the gooseneck to pull a camper. any ideas will help. (I dont know the guy so all I have to go on that the truck really had duals is his word so I just want to make sure it will work before i buy the wheels)
