mirror question
i just got a new rearview mirror. the little metal thingy the mirror mounts on is different from the one in my truck. finding adhesive to mount the new one is no prob but how do i get the old one off w/o damaging the windshield.

Try a hair drier on the outside pointing at mount. Some gentle heat might release it. Don't "crash" heat it and break the windshield.
Never needed to get mount off before? Usually falls off when you least expect it to.
