I recently lifted my 2 WD Super crew 2006 F150. I put a 6" Fabtech suspension on it and love it. I would however like to go higher. Ive talked to ppl around here that have said doing a body lift or spacers would be a bad idea due to the suspension. ANybody know anything about this?
almost all the lift kit companies sell bigger lift blocks.
but if you already have lift blocks, then I'd suggest a 1.5" AAL.
For the Front:
alot of guys stack a 2.5" leveling kit spacer ontop of the coil-overs. This gives them enough room to clear 37"...and sometimes 38" tires.
But since you are starting out 1" shorter than a 4x4, I'd stick with trying to clear 36...maybe 37" tires.
another option would be to buy new shocks...but those things can get downright expensive and quick. A good set of Kings or Dirt Logics can sometimes cost more than the 6" lift kit itself
