Likewise on the meeting. Can't wait.

Not sure if I will be able to bring Tony with me or not. Still not sure what he has going on that weekend. I'll certainly try though.

There might be some logistical issues that weekend for me but, I should still make it. My truck is still not ready to be picked up. (no fault of the secondIInone guys) I hope to work out a way to pick it up on Sunday morning and then come by the meet on the way back. I'll keep you guys posted.

You sure don't have to have your truck to come to the meet, Jimmy - if you don't have it don't let that stop you.

Tony will not be making it. He, like I have said before, is a pretty busy guy. He is racing up here this weekend on his Motorcycle. He said he would back out but, he has a few people counting on him for rides out there, pit help and all kinds of other stuff. He said he is in for the next one, wherever it ends up being.

Just wondering here -

Do you think the announcement at the top of the chapter forum is a good way to put out the word for our meets?

Is it more visible to you than a stickie?

I wanted to give it a try that way this time around, but I don't know if it's a better way or not.

I'd like to have your thoughts on the matter.

I thought it worked okay. It kept the pertinent info from being buried in BS. The discussion thread served well along with it. It might take everyone a while to get used to looking up there for them, but we'll get used to it.

I expect a little more in the spelling department, however.

I'll debate that spelling.

"Sticky" is an adjective, right?

I have decided that "stickie" will be a noun.

Or, if we are at impasse, I'll just say "stuck thread".

Search results for "stickie" - Wiktionary

sticky - Wiktionary

Stickie is a MAC application. Otherwise unknown in this universe.

Third person singular simple present?

I guess until I figure out what the hell that means, I'll go with sticky.

(Internet, of threads on a bulletin board) fixed at the top of the list of topics or threads so as to keep it in view.

I guess that pretty much shoots me down.

Some debate.......

The judges would have accepted stickee as a noun. Unfortunately, time has run out.

Hey guys!

I liked having the info posted/stickied/stickyd at the top of the forum. Makes it easy to find and it doesn't get buried.

Isn't the "stickee" he who has been stuck?

The announcement at the top worked great great. I noticed it from the get go. But like anything else, just takes time for all to get used to.

My two cents.
