help me!!

my 94 f150 5.0 has sat for 2 years and i has a pinging and a knocking sound to it any sugestions? need help it is my first truck.

Can you give more information? For instance did you drain the old gas, fit new fuel filter and refill with new gas?

yes i did drain the old gas i changed the battery. i put the good 93 octane in it with the lucas additive. um changed oil.

vehicles do not like to sit for a long period of time.

do a COMPLETE tuneup, motorcraft copper plugs, good quality wires, cap and rotor with brass inserts, new air filter, check timing, read codes.
