Drum to disc conversion

i want to do the conversion on my 73' but not sure were to buy it or another way of doing it. can i run a booster with my drum brakes?

You need to provide more info. Are you talking about the front or rear? What model is your truck? What axles are under it?

The front brake conversion. its a 73 f100 4x4 with small lift not sure of size can i run a booster with the drums till i do the conversion to make stopping a little easier? im not sure of the axle stock i guess what do i look for to tell?

Im no expert, but Im guessing the best way to do this is to get a parts truck, or at least a parts axle (I believe its a dana 44) and start swapping parts.

Correct me if im wrong, but I believe all f100/150's had dana 44 front axles

I chose the easier way and picked up the entire front axle from a '76. As far as the booster/master cylinder goes, I'm not completely sure, but you may only need a proportioning valve.
