5.4 heads Removal
99 ford e-350 conversion van 5.4 triton
Hey guys, Got a problem with that common oil leak on the pass head gasket. I have had this leak for a few years but recently it has gotten alot worse. Are these heads difficult to pull and also does anyone know about the improved new gaskets that should correct this problem? I dont wanna be among the many people who replace the gasket and then have it start leaking again in 10,000 miles or maybe less. I know its gonna be alot easier because of the access from inside the van as well as under the hood. I know its different but i have done heads on my 5.0 lincoln.

The OE Part Numbers are
Left Gasket: 3U7Z-6051-BA
Right Gasket: 3U7Z-6051-AA
ALLDATAdiy.com has this bulletin, as well as the step by step procedure to replace the gaskets and remove the heads.
