hey guys been busy since the ice storm and just now getting back to the swing of things thought i'd try and resolve a few issues before i start slingin away at it......


ok i just found out i need a new ring gear for the flywheel, i am being told it it not that bad to put on just have to pull back the transmission 3 inches, any advice on doing so?

also i am still trying to fix my speedo and have determined it is the gear inside the transmission, not the one on the cable but the one that turns it... i was told all i have to do about that was to pull off the back of the tranny, and pop in a new gear.... not to worried about that already ran it into the ground with some regs earlier

and probably the most annoying issue is the defrost.... i believe the vertical flap is broken off from the little vaccume motor thingy... when i replaced the heater core i moved it by hand and made the it only work on defrost which was ok untill a buddy fiddled with the controll unit after i told him not too... ( gota HATE your friends somtimes) and now it goes with little power to no particulear vent and it really sucks on the icy mornings or rainy afternoons..... i have no idea how to remove or even see that flap, i can reach it with my hand but cant figure out how to get it out....


any help with any of these would be highly appreciated...
