V10 Engine miss???

I have a 2001 F250 - V10. On Sunday the truck started missing when running between 1,000 to 2,000 rpm. Above 2,000 rpm's the truck runs fine. I have changed the fuel filter and disconneted the battery to reset the computer, but still have the problem. No check engine light, but I will run to the local auto parts and have them scan for any codes. Anybody else had a similar problem and a solution?

I had the same problem about a year ago on my 01. Replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the mass air sensor. Each time It ran a little better but still was missing. No check engine light either and no codes.

Go get a new COP(about $50.00) and try each plug till you find the bad one. If your like me it will be on the last or next to last one you check. You will know right away when you find it.

I just had the same problem with my 01. It has 75,000 miles on it. I took it in and it scanned with the #4 and #8 missing. I changed the COP and plug on both and it runs good now.I was able to get 2 coils and 2 plugs for $110. The shop wanted to charge me $352 to do the job.
