draining water from fuel
Well this 6.0 is still somewhat new to me so when I got a "water in fuel" mesage I opened my manual to see what to do. After learning there are two filter and the bottom frame mounted one has a drain to remove the water I gave it a shot. I crawled under the truck and found the filter but there is no drain. I went back to the manual to double check. Sure enough the diagram in the manual looks just like the filter on the frame except the one in the picture had a handy dandy little lever you can turn to drain it and mine doesn't

if you look at the frame mounted filter, towards the front of the truck you will se a 1/2" round plug with a 6mm allen head, you need to remove that pug to drain the hfcm. You should also run an additive to help get rid of the water, I use powwer service as do many here good luck!

you drain it on the bottom filter housing that is also your fuel water seperater. it is not a valve it is a screw (allen I bleave). it is in the tech folder Give me a min and I will post a link for you
