Axle replacement
I solved the jacking problem. I found a place nearby that rents a transmission jack so the whole thing gets chained down. Easy. My question is about the rotors. They have more thinkness than the ones I'm replacing so I'd like to keep them on. They have a thin coating of rust on them. Should this get taken off before putting the brakes on or will the pads scrub it off OK.
