Gauges

My neighbor offered me a good amount for my gauges and I was kind of getting tired of them anyways...So my question is what gauges yall are running and pics you have. I really like the dipricol optix but it doesnt seem like they make many gauges, just trans boost egt fuel and oil, and I like gauges and want like 9 or so different gauges, i know stupid right, but thats what I like.

So i am really just asking on yalls opinions, thanks Kenny

Check out their website. Danin Optix Series Diesel Instrumentation . They make more gauges than you think in the Optix line.

Are you wanting to look at them all simultaneously? There's another thread discussing other styles such as the Scan Gage II or the MSD Dashhawk. I've got the 3 basics, but want more info, and am considering a single display that can display multiply readings, or offer the ability to scroll through to others. Those two plug into the OBD-II port, so they'd be simple to install.

Dipricol makes other gauges, but I have yet to see any vendor that carries them have anything other than egt, boost, trans, oil pressure, fuel pressure.

What about that new line that Isspro came out with, can't remember the name. But all of the gauges are run through a "brain" so to speak and you do not have all kind of wires running into the cab. TNT is running them.

Or there is always the scangauge.

Isspro Performax- run up to 17 gauges at a time- you buy whatever gauges you want and a control box to power them.

I'm with you Kenny, I want them all to match, but not going with that many. I think I'll have 6 or 7 when done.

I ordered the DiPricol black face gauges almost a month ago. Got the pyro and boost right away but the trans didn't show. I ordered the full sweep trans temp but as I found out TODAY after my 5th trip in the past 2 weeks to the local place I ordered them from, that they are manufacture backorder. Same with the electric fuel pressure gauges. Going to be 3 to 4 weeks before they're expected to be back out!! So, I'm having them ship me the short sweep trans gauge instead and getting credited back the difference.

stay with the full sweep. It's worth it IMHO. I went for the full sweep and love it. Much more detail for a little bit more $.

Just got off the phone with them. They don't have an actual release date of them coming off backorder. I guess the 3-4 weeks was an "educated guess". I'm going ahead and getting the short sweep. Not what I wanted, but don't want to wait 2 months or so MORE for the full sweep to come in.

I'll run the short and if I'm not satisfied, then I'll sell it used and get the full sweep when they're available again.

Look deeper into the Performax line... Once you have the brain box its not that bad, the pyros are only 70 or so, and there is nothing else like it in the industry. 17 guages on 3 wires in the cab.

If you have any questions about performax or EV2 please ask away...

Kenny if you can swing it I would get the Performax line and make it simple on your self if you plan on running alot of gauges. There is a deal on them now and Clay Bigfwt04 might be able to cut you a deal but if you want to save money go with the Di Optix

Stealth Automotive Inc has great deal on them

I would strongly suggest Isspro, expecially with the rebate they have on right now... Check with me for pricing, they aren't as much as you think. Plus there warranty is second to none in the industry. I also have some thought on Dipricol but PM and I will share.
