Need help!

Hey guy i need alot of help this weekend i blew up my 96 f150's 302 :' ( .
My question is i have a running 429 in my garage what will it take to drop it in my truck? its a 3 speed auto+ overdrive?

thank you for all your help i need it!

I would need a c6 tranny wouldnt I?

You basically have to strip that '96 bare, remove the complete powertrain and engine wiring harness, get big block engine mounts, front springs, and tranny, bolt it in and create a drivesahft to fit. Then you need to install a low pressure fuel system, an ignition system, and figure out what wires under the dash you need to connect the gauges to the motor and turn everything on at the right time. It's certainly no weekend project.

i would follow all steps it takes to install a 460. you can even take all the efi 460 hardware and try and go that route. either way its work and not a drop in and go swap.
