I went to the Parker 425 off road race thise weekend. It is always coll. This year it rained pretty good all day so we had fun trying to stay warm and dry. Oh well it is worth it to watch 750+ hp trucks fly 3 feet in front of you at 100mph!!
I went too, we were setup at main pit next to BFG and Western with the Moores. They were saying that was more rain than they were used to having in a 4-5 year time span.
Yeah we have had more rain than I can remember in the last 4-5 years. We actually can see snow on the mounbtains just east of Havasu!
We set up on Shea road in the long woop section before they cross into the wash. Last year we clocked some of the big guyr running 100+mph. This year they all seemed a bit slower. The we wnet down to the Shea road wash and watched under a pop up and next to the fire!
I almost took a head sized rock to the dome last year when Robby went under the hwy. on his way to the finish line!
