would be a royal pain getting everything set right. i know there is a cool factor to saying I built that. but honestly unless you make a good jig get everything precisely right and then weld the things up you would prolly be money and frustration ahead to just buy them. they are around $600 and come with new bushings.

the djm dream beams are very well build, come powdercoated with new poly bushings installed. For the price of building one set in materials for the beams, materials for the jig and and having them powdercoated id say the $600 is a deal.
The only reason I could see building your own set is if you were going to do something other than a 3" drop using stock spring and wanted a different spindle setup.
