91 exlporer transfer case support

had the tans. replaced last year, now i have to replace fuel pump and noticed the tansfer case support brace is missing not there, can i just make one?

There is no transfer case specific support brace. There is a skid plate. But it doesn't touch the transfer case.

should i worry about it? i just don't want to have to replace the tanny again.
