New Truck!!
Well fellas, went and looked at the 1990 F350, and after a short test drive I graciously handed over the money, and took the title. I'm not sure who's more excited me on getting a new truck, or my wife knowing for sure I can now transport her ponies to the show. For those who didnt read my first post from the other day on this truck, it is a 1990 F350 LE Lariat Ext. Cab DRW, with a 460 in it. When I drove this thing this after noon, the motor was quiet as a mouse. I figured there'd be a slight tick to it or at very least the exhaust manifold gasket would be leaking and making the annoying ticking sound going down the road. But nope nothin, only the sound of 460 happy horses. From what I can tell under the hood, the distributor cap and plug wires have all been recently changed as well as the master cylinder. The guy put a brand new battery in this morning before we got there. He said he replaced the LF shoes and Caliper last summer, but the rest of the brakes are in need of replacing. Anyhow below are a few pics of the truck.
