Carb. float question
Can anyone direct me to a site,or a drawing of how to adjust the float bowl.It is a 1bbl from a 226/49.Service manual gives measurmints but where do i measure from?

I keep trying to change this and it won't take...let me try again. Some carbs you turn upside down and measure the bottom of the float in relation to the bowl edge.
But on yours, I think it's as simple as just measuring the height of the fuel in the bowl from the top edge of the bowl. You adjust by VERY SLIGHTLY bending the tab on the float.
I think that's right but you might want to ask Albuq F1 (Ross)! He's better with the old carbs than I am!
