Well I found a nice set of used stock headers off of a Mustang that I was going to fit on my 94 F-150 4x4. The passenger side would have bolted right to the stock exhaust, a perfect fit. However the drivers side was right above the fwd axel. Checked a friend of mines 87 2x4 and it too would have worked with a short piece of new fabrication to the Y-pipe. If anyone wants to buy them I'll sell for 50.00 plus shipping (10.00 to 15.00). E-mail me. Called Bassini and was told they don't have any that will fit a 4x4 like mine.

What engine do you have in your truck.
Summit racing carries shorty headers that will bolt up to the stock pipes. I have a set of them on my truck (they work like a charm!)
If you want the link directly to the Shorty truck headers here it is (it's kind of long though)
I have the 5.0. Iv'e seen some nice headers in catalogs and on the internet, but thought that if I could save 100 to 150 bucks it would be worth a shot.they bolt right up to the stock pipes on one side but the front driveshaft is in the way on one side.
I know I tried the Mustang header thing myself. A guy I work with told me that he did it on his truck, what he didn't tell me was that he had to have the front of the exhaust system rebuilt.
