Wires ok? Including ground?

Fusible link?
Don't go crazy. Go back over the work you've done. Still an issue? Go backwards towards the fuse panel and battery. Or forward from there. When you find an issue, make note, try it, move on if need be. Reverse anything you've done if you're not sure. Make and try changes one at a time so you can pinpoint the problem.
i just got my problems resolved 1st it was my rear fuel pump (it totally burned up) then it burnt my selector switch and finally my ground to both my pumps were loose after all that she is finally running after 3 1/2 month
I wish I would have seen this thread earlier. A friend of mine and I went through this last fall on his '95. After we: replaced the fuel pump, bypassed the inertia switch, removed the fuel pump, checked the fuel pump, re-installed the fuel pump, tried an auxiliary fuel pump, we started to go CRAZY!
Then we discovered, guess what... a bad ground.
Now both of us take more time to diagnose stuff, and we both swear by the multimeter.
