intake manifold compatible?
I would like to change my two barrel with a four barrel intake and carb.I have a 390 with C7AE heads and a four barrel intake that is C1AE. Are the two compatible? I read that there was a change around 65/66. Although the intake came with block and heads that I purchased and the heads are D2TE and that persons truck seemed to run fine.

That intake will bolt up, you just need to check for the road draft tube located at the rear of the intake(if present) and the oil fill at the front of the intake near the thermostat housing. Those holes need to be plugged for later year applications.
