I am looking at getting a camper shell for my 2008 CC Lariat 4X4 and have about settled on the Century Ultra with the fold down front window and sliding front window. Have any of you had experience with this company? Photo Gallery | Ford - ULTRA Fiberglass Truck Caps
The topper looks to be built well and has a good fit/finish, and the price with my options is only $1200 installed. And yes I asked about the tailgate step, it requires a different rear glass when ordered. Please give me some input, but don't bother trying to talk me out of a topper.
Thanks!
When shopping for my top, it came down to Century and Jason. (I ended up going with Jason. Got a little more for my $$$) . The tilt window ROCKS! Best upgrade ever! You may want to consider the high end top. The windows are superior in function and appearance. Not much more for a top end product.
FYI I paid $1500 for my top. (Jason Cyber) That included color match paint, carpeted head liner, tilt slider and install.
It does pay to shop around! Keep us posted on your decision.
Cheers
JIM
Jim, that's pretty much the look I am going for. I don't think I'll spring for the carpet, though it might be nice when I go camping. For simplicity I'll probably go with the Century due to the location of the dealer and the price, but I think I'll upgrade to the Royal instead of the Ultra.
BTW nice truck
